Nursery children from Hunni-Bee Children's Centre at Hunningley PrimarySchool in Barnsley, Yorkshire, went parading in their homemade Easterbonnets. Centre manager Kate Brentley said, 'We went and showed all thechildren in the school our wonderful creations that we had made athome.'

Children from Coxheath Primary School and Rising Fives Group inMaidstone, Kent, took part in a Guinness world record-breaking attemptfor the most people reading a piece of poetry aloud at one time, toraise money for Great Ormond Street children's hospital. Parents, staffand friends joined in to raise 90 by reading a two-minute extractfrom Peter Pan in Scarlet by Geraldine McCaughrean. The event was partof Peter Pan Week and the Big Time Rhyme, 3-7 March, organised by thehospital and Oxford University Press.
