Learning about Eid

The children at Little Oaks Nursery in Chichester, West Sussex, havebeen enjoying celebrating Eid. Nursery manager Gemma Woods said, 'Wehave been talking about Ramadan and when and why Muslims fast, tryingdates for snacks, looking at prayer mats and decorating hands withmehndi to celebrate Eid, which is the end of Ramadan.'

Retro fun

Staff from Tender Care Nursery in West Croydon held an 80s retro-themedfun day to raise money for the nursery and for Rehab UK, The BrainInjury Centre. The event brought in more than 200. Nurserydirector Sherene Marcelle said, 'The whole of Croydon was invited tojoin in the fun, which included a bouncy castle, face painting, hennatattoos, nail painting, lots of food and an 80s penny sweet stall.'Pictured from left to right are Chelsea Howland, Melody Dale, RihabKhadraoui, Christina Neophytou and Francesca Ruffo.
