Technotots Nursery, due to open shortly, aims to mix traditional pre-school methods of care with the latest computer technology to help children develop computing skills at an early age and to get the maximum benefit from the latest innovations.
Nursery director Angela McGoldrick said, 'It was important that our staff came together as a team before beginning to work in a brand new nursery. They had to learn a lot about technology as well as the traditional nursery skills.'
Because computers will play such an important role in Technotots - the building is even designed to look like a computer - it is vital that staff members' computer skills are up-to-date.
