The day is a chance to join your peers to debate what has worked and what hasn't ahead of the 2010 review, reflecting on the EYFS after a year of implementation, and sharing experiences and best practice to achieve excellence. You can identify and focus on the areas that your setting needs to improve on, including observation/assessment/planning, optimising your environment, and providing staff with adequate EYFS training.
In addition, join an Ofsted policy maker, an inspector and a setting that has experienced inspection to clarify current inspectorate expectations and requirements, and show how you can clearly demonstrate the strength of your provision.
