Off the wall!

Our chalkboard came about purely by accident and has become one of the most loved and used areas in the courtyard. It is a perfect outlet for fun, imagination and learning.

The children write on it, draw on it (and around each other as they lie on it), use it as an area for conversation and as a place to park their scooters - indeed, for whatever takes their fancy.

The 'accident' occurred while replacing our fading murals. We had discovered a temporary member of staff had a real gift for artwork and when someone volunteers to do some painting, who am I to say 'No'?
