These DVDs are intended to help early years practitioners advance their professional skills in child observation and their knowledge of child development. Each one is accompanied by a booklet of user's notes, including background reading, film content details, questions and discussion topics.
The filmed material is exceptionally high quality. Watching the DVDs is sheer delight. They are relaxed, contemporary and accessible and have captured spontaneous play and talk between children, and adults and children. I am already planning ahead for opportunities to share this material with early years students and practitioners.
