During the week, which runs from 25 to 29 June, the Kids' Clubs Network will publish research on the benefits that safe, affordable and reliable childcare can bring to communities, as well as its impact on health, employment and education. Hundreds of Kids' Clubs all over the country will be holding events and open days to celebrate.
A highlight of the week will be the Excellence in Childcare Awards, sponsored by Nursery World and Prima. There will be four awards - Prima Childcarer of the Year, Playworker of the Year, Best Out-of-School Club and Most Creative Activity Programme - and winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on 26 June.
