Prospect Bank special school

(Photograph) - Melanie MacDonald and her friends at Prospect Bank special school in Edinburgh are getting hands-on experience of the latest learning aids. These include the use of digital photographs and pictures as part of a structured visual communications system which is used both at school and home. The school, which has 55 pupils, caters for five-to 12-year-olds with moderate to severe learning difficulties and speech and language difficulties. Photograph by Photo Callum Moffat/Newsflash
