Reaching Young People

There are multiple failings in the education system for children who are bullied, excluded and discriminated against, according to a new report by Children in Scotland and Save the Children in Scotland. Reaching Young People found that pupils often are unable to take advantage of opportunities because of bullying, discrimination, behaviour difficulties and learning difficulties. The young people interviewed for the report suggested that their experiences would be improved by having smaller class sizes and improved relationships with teachers.
