The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Judith Ivers as the new chair of its Childcare Sector group.
Ms Ivers, managing director of North London Nannies, has been a memberof REC for 20 years, and set up a first aid training school for earlyyears professionals. Her remit now includes developing the reputationand professionalism of childcare recruiters. Ms Ivers said, 'I lookforward to working with the group in promoting members' interests to theGovernment and the relevant industry bodies.'
