Restorative Justice programme

Five-year-old Caitlin Allen uses a specialist plinth at The Legacy centre in Mawdesley, Lancashire, one of the Rainbow House centres which provide care and education for more than 120 disabled children in the north-west of England.

The plinth Caitlin is using was created by inmates at HMP Garth Prisonin Leyland working through a Restorative Justice programme. The men haverestored and made wooden furniture for the centre as part of a projectto give something back to the community.
