Safety Hints

* If sand gets into a child's eye prevent her from rubbing it. Encourage the child to blink and blow her nose; carefully separate lids with your thumb and index finger to look for the object and if you can see it, try to flush it out with cold water. Seek medical help if the sand remains stuck. * Children with eczema or skin allergies should be protected with aqueous cream before water play - consult the parent before the session.
