Scottish Consumer Council

A briefing paper that looks at parents, children and young people as consumers of education has been produced by the Scottish Consumer Council. The paper emphasises that many of the issues facing parents, such as lack of information, poor complaints systems and limited choice, are exacerbated by the lack of a national representation body. Copies of Strengthening the links between parents, children and Scottish education providers can be downloaded from www.scotconsumer.org.uk/publications/reports/reports.htm.
