- How did it feel to be graded outstanding by Ofsted?
We were so happy and relieved, we both burst into tears. We are verycommitted to what we do and we are constantly thinking about what to donext, what resources to buy and so forth. We even look for new ideaswhile on holiday.
- How are you different from other childminders?
We're a husband and wife team and we've been working together since1998. We both take a full part in anything that is happening throughoutthe day. However, we have certain individual skills that we havedeveloped over the years - for example, the children like reading withRobin and enjoy arts and creative activities with Judith.
- What feedback have you had from parents?
Initially we had two parents who were keen to have a male role modelcaring for their children. Since then most of our parents have come tous by word of mouth. They were all thrilled when we were awardedoutstanding and bought us cards and gifts.
