How did it feel to be named Outstanding Childminder at the Pre-SchoolLearning Alliance play awards?
It was a complete surprise and I was delighted to get that feedback. It'snice for childminders to get some recognition, as we don't always get agood press!
Why do you think you won?
I think the joy I get out of my job comes across. It's like a familyhere. The children have been with me for a long time, and I have lookedafter some of their brothers and sisters as well. I plan lots ofactivities for the children and keep diaries for parents.
What did you win?
A digital camera, Fisher Price Toys, an engraved glass award and a 250 cheque. The winners also had a reception at Claridges.
