Position: Head of fundraising at the Peter Pan Nursery for children with special needs in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire

- What does your role involve?

The nursery is a charity and nearly 100 per cent reliant on donations. My role is to raise enough money to cover the running costs of the setting, which is £250,000 a year. I have organised a number of events and activities throughout the year and am currently recruiting a group of volunteers who will fundraise on behalf of the nursery.

- What experience of fundraising do you have?

I have several years of experience and worked in fundraising since I left university. I previously worked on the fundraising team for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice in Stoke-on-Trent.
