* Stibbard Children Centre in Fakenham, Norfolk, has been judged 'outstanding' for quality and standards of nursery education and 'good' for quality and standards of care, following its recent Ofsted inspection. The 300,000 centre was facing closure this time last year because of a shortage of funds for new premises but was saved by investment from Sure Start. The centre provides full daycare for two- to five-year-olds and an after-school and holiday club for children aged five to 11.
