Strategy for all children in need

The DHSSPS is consulting until 3 November on the form the strategy should take. It is looking at models in other countries such as the Republic of Ireland's Strategy for Children and the ten regional objectives based on England's Quality Protects initiative. A series of workshops will be held covering family support and early years, children looked after, leaving and after-care services, permanency planning and adoption, disabled children, children and the courts, and child protection.
