I am a member of the Alton and Aldershot Children Come First Childminding Network and working towards accreditation in the future. I am being given a lot of support and advice from my network co-coordinator, who is working very hard.
As a network, we have regular meetings with all the members and the opportunity to use a very well equipped toy library, offer children art and craft activities, new games, and new friends. We work together as a group of professionals and are able to share and exchange information.
Childminding has so much to offer children and parents. By being on these networks we are giving a clear message that we are a professional body of workers, well trained and well equipped to do our job.
