The 18th National Pet Week will run events nationwide from 29 April to 7 May under the theme 'Your Pet - One of the Family'. This year the charity is particularly focusing on young people and aiming to get schools and nurseries involved in teaching children how to look after their pets responsibly. The National Pet Week website www.nationalpetweek.org.uk has a whole area dedicated to children and teachers called Teacher's Pet, offering information and pet advice.
