The winners of the last event of the Strider UK World Cup for the 2012 season proudly show off their trophies.

The event, which ended the first ever season of this non-pedal balance bike series, saw 300 toddlers ride around the same BMX track that the British national team train on in Manchester's Velodrome.

Ashton Heron, aged three took home the title of British balance bike champion, with James Long and Louis Moss, also three, in second and third place.

The Strider team has set up Centres of Excellence across the country where children can ride and race balance bikes.
