The Children's Workforce Development Council

The Children's Workforce Development Council is touring the nine English regions to meet the workforce and discuss key issues for childcare. Unlike in previous years, each tour will focus on a particular subject and each region will see three visits and a lunch reception. Themes are to include early years, children in care, the voluntary sector and education welfare. Having started in the north-west, where it focused on children with disabilities, the tour will consider integrated working in the south- west on 24 April (to be confirmed), children in care in London on 15 May, and early years in the south-east on 19 July.
