Nursery World - The Daycare Trust

The Daycare Trust has been shortlisted for an Institute of Public Relations Excellence Award in the Public Affairs category. The awards recognise best practice in public relations throughout the country, and acknowledge personal and team achievement at the highest professional level. The Trust was nominated for its Childcare Challenge campaign promoting affordable quality childcare for all. Director Stephen Burke said, 'We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. It is recognition of the hard and effective work of all the staff at Daycare Trust. We want to ensure that all children and families can access quality affordable childcare wherever they live.' Colin Farrington, IPR director general and secretary to the judges, said, 'The quality of entries is very impressive, reflecting a vibrant and innovative industry. Reaching the final shortlist is a real achievement, and Daycare Trust is to be congratulated.' The winners will be announced at a presentation dinner at the Hilton Hotel in London's Park Lane on 5 July.
