The most dedicated childcarers in England were rewarded for their good practice at a star-studded ceremony held at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London on 29 June. This year's Childcare Stars Awards, run by 4Children with Nursery World and Prima magazines and sponsored by Sure Start, were attended by 4Children vice president Cherie Booth, minister for children Beverley Hughes and musician Chesney Hawkes.
