The National Day Nurseries Association hosted a roundtable event in London on 11 May to discuss the long-term role of the private and voluntary sectors within the Government's childcare policies. Representatives from the Sure Start Unit, DfES, local authorities, the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit and the London Development Agency met managers from children's centres, day nurseries and nursery chains at 'Development of the market - a childcare vision for day nurseries'.
