The Reggio approach

* The Reggio Emilia approach to early years education is based upon the premise that all children have an incredible curiosity which makes them search for the reasons for everything. * Central to the Reggio pedagogy is the child who is competent in building relationships; the child who holds his own values; the child who is respected and valued for himself as well as holding a respect for others, the child who embodies a curiosity and open-mindedness about all that is possible.
