Time-travelling children

Time-travelling children at Burgh Primary in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire celebrated their centenary in Victorian style last week. The children experienced a Victorian school day, complete with slates and chalk as technology was cast aside. Teaching staff donned mortar boards and cloaks as they helped children understand what school life would have been like 100 years ago. Three generations of one family who had attended the school described the changes they saw in their time there.
