Tinies Childcare, one of the country's biggest nanny and childcare staff agencies, is expanding into teacher recruitment for primary and secondary schools.

For a trial period, the company is offering both permanent and supply teachers at its two London offices, followed by its Three Counties branch serving Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, and then Surrey.

It plans to extend the service across the country within six months from the rest of its 25 offices.

Director Oliver Black, who owns Tinies with his brother Ben, said that expanding to teacher recruitment was a natural progression. 'Our offices provide a fantastic service and have supplied thousands of nannies and nursery staff. We found teachers coming to us for work,' he said.

'Having local offices around the country means that we understand the areas they operate in. Our childcare background means we always secure advanced Criminal Records Bureau checks for all successful candidates.'
