Tips from Childcare professionals and parents

Childcare professionals and parents have been invited to give their tips and advice on bringing up toddlers for a booklet to be published in March by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). The booklet will give new parents advice about how to understand and cope with their toddler's emotions. Contributors are being asked to write about one or more of four areas - their top tips for coping with toddler behaviour, what the best thing is about being a parent of a toddler, what the most challenging aspects are of bringing up a toddler, and funny stories about what toddlers do and say. All entrants' names will be put in a prize draw and the first five names to be drawn will each receive a 50 voucher donated by the Early Learning Centre. All contributions, including name and telephone number, must be sent by 22 January via e-mail to toddlertips@nspcc.org.uk or by post to Toddler Tips, NSPCC, 42 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3NH.
