(Photograph) - Children and parents enjoy jumping, bouncing and stretching at gymnastics sessions at Verdon Recreation Centre in Burngreave, Sheffield. The centre is running an eight-week pilot scheme called FUNdamentals in association with Activity Sheffield and Burngreave and Firvale Sure Start, aimed at improving the balance, co-ordination and agility of children between 18 months and three years. The FUNdamentals programme has been developed by British Gymnastics, the UK's governing body for the sport. For information see www.earlyyearsfundamdentals.co.uk. Photo Lorne Campbell/Guzelian
