Controversial babycare expert Claire Verity has been questioned by Channel 4 after organisations that she claimed to hold qualifications from said they had no record of her. Ms Verity advised parents on Channel 4's 'Bringing Up Baby' reality TV programme, which was widely criticised for 'experimenting' with babies and using outdated care routines (News, 25 and 4 October). A spokesman for Channel 4 said that the broadcasters had discovered some inaccuracies in Ms Verity's curriculum vitae during the series.
