Without children's input, how do we know whether we are really meeting the needs of all the young children we take into school each September?

I was fortunate to be involved in a summer term sabbatical project entitled Learning from the Learner. For this I decided on three objectives:

* To consult with children in the Foundation Stage 2 class on how they think the best learning takes place, and consult with sample groups from other year groups
