Welsh tax credits

Parents who employ appropriately qualified nannies in Wales will be able to access tax credits or childcare vouchers, education minister Jane Davidson said last week. Under the scheme, to be introduced through legislation in the 2007/08 tax year following consultation, approved nannies will need a level 2 qualification and a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check.
