Our daughter was in a school concert. As we went in to join the audience of parents for the second performance, she said to me, 'Mum, I think some people didn't want to see their children singing last night. They kept looking at their watches.'
As parents and childcare professionals, we should bear in mind how the children in our care interpret those little habits.
