Where EYP takes us

What will happen to those in early years who do not want or cannot attain Early Years Professional Status? Will a sector that for years has exploited the love we all have for the children we care for, throw us out on the scrap heap?Or will we serve as skivvies for our 'betters'? Surely I am not the only person with misgivings about the fate of early years workers? I do not know any graduates in any sector who are prepared to work for little over the minimum wage.

Surely many capable, experienced people will leave the profession, all because they do not have bits of paper or the new right bits of paper.

I remember when a foundation degree was going to be the greatest thing ever. Now it would appear to be almost worthless.
