The Alphabet House Nursery School in Stratford, east London, was the proud winner of a competition for National Smile Month run by the nutrition and well-being team at the Early Start Group in Newham.
The competition set four weekly challenges to promote the importance of oral hygiene to children and their families. Activities included role play based on the story Smile, Crocodile Smile and a challenge for parents to create a healthy snack at home with their child, later using the recipes to make books with the children at nursery.
