Lauren Adams, cook at Priory Day Nursery in Bristol, came up with an inspired idea for play after some torrential rain.
She made the pre-school children some rainbow rice and arranged it in the builder's tray, so they would come into pre-school the following morning to a beautiful rainbow. The children had hours of fun exploring both colour and texture.
