Children at Co-operative Childcare's Newburn nursery in Newcastle used large sticks and fern leaves to do some outdoor painting.
Nursery manager Claire Robson said, 'The children were excited to use the special brushes made from natural materials to paint. They talked about the shapes of the leaves and the marks they made on the paper.'
