Durham County Council has created a new oral health strategy which aims to bring the local authority and its partners together to reduce dental disease and improve oral health, particularly in young children and vulnerable groups.
To complement the strategy, Busy Bees Children’s Day Nursery in Durham has devised its own six-week oral hygiene programme, which is offered to all the three- and four-year-olds in the nursery.
