From ‘Add a word’ to ‘Zzz time for a rest’, this cleverly simple A-Z of talking tips for parents was written by a team of speech and language therapists. Written from the point of view of the child, with illustrations that make it possible to read with children, the book covers basic strategies for incubating words and giving children confidence to speak. The book comes out of the Time to Talk project, whose champions have worked in children’s centres and early years settings across Warwickshire.
