The Data Protection Act regulates how personal information is used. Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) and the Performing Rights Society (PRS)
The PPL licenses the performance of sound recordings in public. The PRS is responsible for the area of copyright dealing with the musical and lyrical content of a performance. Motion Picture Licensing Company
In addition to a TV licence you may also need to obtain a licence if you plan to broadcast video/DVD, at www.themplc.co.uk.
