Calling all EYPs: national survey of Early Years Professionals

Early years practitioners are being urged to take part in CWDC's second survey of Early Years Professionals.

Both surveys are part of a three-year longitudinal study being carried out by Wolverhampton University for the CWDC on the role and career development of EYPs.

The first survey's findings, published earlier this year, found that Early Years Professionals were successful in improving early years provision and suggested that the development of EYPS has had a substantive impact on practitioners' ability to effect change.

The second survey focuses on the practice, experience and development of EYPs.

The findings will be published early next year.

Thom Crabbe, national manager for early years, said, ‘We had an excellent response to the first survey with over a third of practitioners taking part and we hope to at least match that this time. The findings will provide valuable insight into the work and issues being tackled by over 8,300 EYPs throughout the country.
