'Inspection and Regulation in the Early Years: Building the Strongest Foundation' (Neil Stewart Associates, 18 January) is designed to help the sector get up to speed with changes to the inspections framework which will be timed to coincide with the introduction of the revised EYFS next September.
Ann Gross, director of Early Years at the DfE, will outline the direction of travel and how areas of concern - such as standards of provision in disadvantaged areas - will be addressed. Senior practitioners and early years experts will provide case studies about what's working and how, while panel discussions will centre on management and financial challenges, the workforce agenda and school readiness.
