Coronavirus: Nursery owners to discuss their experiences of reopening in a free digital conference

An online conference run by Famly, with Nursery World as media partner, will be broadcast on 16 June, two weeks on from the date that many settings in England reopened their doors.

Sarah Mackenzie, director of Education at N Family Club, and David Wright of Paint Pots Nursery Group will be sharing their experiences and the lessons they’ve learnt from fully reopening 15 settings across England.

Andrew Clifford, head of nurseries at CC Nurseries Group, which has six settings in London and Scotland, will also be on the panel.

Key questions that they will be addressing include:

This session follows on from the Reopening Childcare webinar which took place on 14 May.

Matt Arnerich, head of content at Famly said, ‘It's no secret that this period has been incredibly tough for the wonderful people who work in the early years - having been pulled one way and the other by often confusing and conflicting advice.

‘Two weeks into a larger-scale reopening for many settings, we know many questions aren't getting easier, and I'm really excited to bring Sarah, Andrew, and David in to have an open conversation about what's worked, what hasn't, and what we all need to be focusing on next. I'd love to have Nursery World readers join us on Tuesday, and keep an eye out for future sessions, which we plan to run every few weeks.'
