Nurseries, children's centres, playgroups, childminders, families and friends are all invited to hold their own Giant Wiggle event between 20 and 26 March 2017 – registration is open to anyone.
Taking its inspiration from the UK’s most read and much loved storybook, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Giant Wiggle is a fun-filled walk for children raising valuable funds for disadvantaged children.
Participants across the UK will be taking part in many fun and educational activities including storytelling, arts and crafts and a caterpillar conga line.
Holding a Giant Wiggle event is suitable for everyone, regardless of facilities, weather, age and number of children taking part.
Since 2014, 110,500 children have taken part in more than 2,400 Giant Wiggle events so sign up to get involved in 2017.
To join in the caterpillar fun, fill out the simple online registration form to receive a free fundraising and activity pack to help organise an event, complete with lots of lovely activity ideas, materials and props.
