The group has opened the new £1 million First Chapter Day Nursery in Burscough, West Lancashire.

The bespoke building will replace two existing Kid Inc nurseries in the area, on High Lane and Lordsgate Lane, with children and staff from both locations moving to the new larger premises.

The setting will offer places to 110 children and create seven new jobs.

Kid Inc nursery group has invested a total of £980,000 in the purpose-built facility, including £680,000 provided by Lloyds Bank as part of the bank’s commitment to lend £1.3billion to businesses in the North West during 2019.

The nursery group was established in 2014 by husband and wife Olawale and Moji Jones. The couple also operate three other nurseries under different brands in Blackpool, Blackburn and Bolton.

Olawale Jones, co-owner and manager of Kid Inc, said, ‘Our nurseries offer children the opportunity to learn and play in a fun and safe environment. Through our existing sites, we have built a trustworthy reputation and established ourselves within the local community.

‘The new premises will give us the opportunity to build on this solid foundation while providing the headroom to continue to grow. In addition to the wonderful team of 20 staff who will be moving to the new nursery, we’re looking forward to growing the Kid Inc family, and welcoming many more new faces.

‘The grounds enabled us to fulfil a dream of building a bespoke nursery that fitted into what we felt was an ideal place to nurture children.

‘We have plans to expand the group in the future. For now, we are looking at expanding around the North West in the next three years.'
