Manchester group opens fifth nursery

A group shortlisted for this year's Nursery World Awards has opened a new purpose-built setting.

Mulberry Bush has opened a new nursery on Dumers Lane in Bury, Greater Manchester.

The new nursery will care for up to 122 children each day. Each of its other four sites, all in Bury, are currently rated outstanding by Ofsted. The group now has more than 600 children registered on its books.

We know that it will provide a wonderful child-focused environment and we’re looking forward to seeing it full of happy children.’

The nursery opened on 1 September to mark the 25th anniversary of the opening of the group’s first nursery in Tottington in 1990.

The site has been purpose-built for a child-focused environment. Every childcare room has direct outdoor access to make the most of its location next to the River Irwell.
