Secret Garden Nursery has opened its third setting in Gloucester.
The group’s newest setting has opened in the Tredworth area of the city following extensive 15-month refurbishment of the former Victory Hotel.
The 75-place nursery offers a large garden and all-weather play area for children, and takes the total number of childcare places offered by Secret Garden Nursery to 300.
The newest addition to the Secret Garden Nursery group joins existing sites in Tuffley and Eastgate Street in Gloucester.
Managing director of Secret Garden Nursery Charles Perkins said, ‘We are delighted with the finished nursery. The three main areas are all large and open plan and really do give the site a feeling of a school environment which will be great preparation for the children that join us for their future.’

Kids Planet has bought The Wendy House Day Nursery in Litherland, Merseyside, (above), taking its total number of settings to 39.
After securing an extra £6.5m investment from BGF to support further expansion, Kids Planet has expanded to 39 sites across the north of England and Midlands.
The nursery will offer places to over 90 children.
The setting was established by Christine and Andrew Seasman who, with over 20 years’ experience in the childcare sector, own a small portfolio of nurseries in the Wirral area.
Business property advisor Christie & Co handled the sale.
Clare Roberts, chief executive of Kids Planet, said, ‘With several nurseries already operating on Merseyside, we’re extremely excited to bring Litherland into the group.
‘We’re very much looking forward to working with the team to provide them with the support they need to continue delivering the best possible care for children and parents in this area.’
