Bright Minds Daycare has opened a second setting with a room featuring a grand piano.

The nursery in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter follows the group’s first nursery in Edgbaston, which opened in February 2018.

A further setting in Moseley is planned for 2020.

The new Jewellery Quarter setting, which officially opened at the end of March and offers 78 places, is spread across three floors and includes a performance room fitted with a grand piano, and an exploration room which enables children to explore state-of-the-art technology.

The nursery also offers a specialist range of extra-curricular activities and group tuition such as foundation level Spanish, piano lessons, ballet and yoga classes. The nursery will provide extended opening and flexi-hours between 7am and 7pm to support families.

Mandeep Chopra, nursery manager at Bright Minds Daycare Jewellery Quarter, said, ‘With over 12 years’ experience in early years, I am very passionate about a providing nurturing environment for children to flourish as unique and individual learners.

'Bright Minds Daycare provides a child centred approach to learning and a stimulating environment complete with highly skilled practitioners who are able to scaffold each child’s learning.

‘We work in close partnership with parents using our Famly app which allows parents and practitioners to have open communication throughout the day about their child’s day at Bright Minds Daycare, helping to further enhance the family’s experience with us.’

Kelly Hill, director of operations at Bright Minds Daycare, added, ‘A significant amount of thought and research has gone into the setting in order to create a first-class learning environment for our “little superstars”.

'By incorporating aspects of both the Montessori and Reggio approaches, we are able to offer a truly superb environment for learning through play and exploration; giving children the opportunity to learn and develop in ways which are tailored to their individual characters and learning styles.’
