The rapidly expanding group has acquired Polkadot Nurseries, which operates settings across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

The deal sees The Old Station Nursery group grow to 53 settings, providing 3,504 childcare places.

It follows the acquisition of Sixpenny Day Nursery & Pre-school, a standalone site in Wiltshire, at the end of last week.

Speaking about the latest deal, Sarah Steel, chief executive of The Old Station Nursery Group, said, ‘We are very excited to welcome all of the children, families and staff members from Polkadot Nurseries to The Old Station Nursery Group. We are delighted that you are joining our nursery family and we look forward to meeting everyone in the coming months.”
